OK, I only bought one, and held my order for more til the Woodvils come back. :vapor: With my luck, the Woodvils will come out, sell quickly, and I'll be on the waiting list again just like those darn "rare" Ohm meters. Worst off, those Ebay guys will buy them all up and I'll have to spend a fortune bidding on one  Should have a pre-order list or a purchase limit of 1 per order. :)

thank you for taking one for the team :)

A VV grand is off the chain. Everyone should have ATLEAST one.

I like it for several reasons, in no particular order. I'll start by saying if I could only have one REO, it would be a regular grand (not VV), but thank god I can have more than 1. Here's why:

1 it's size is great. It's slightly taller than a grand but the same width. I use it mainly at home or if I am taking a ride in the car (like to pick up the kids from school) and don't have to worry about pocketing it. It fits my hand perfectly.

2. The button placement is perfect (trigger finger).

3. The way the button fires is superb - it's done thru electronics so it is either on or off (no firing pin / spring / moving positive contact).

4. No noalox required since the contact doesn't move.

5. The batts last a long time. I vape at a very low setting but also rotate mods though.

6. Every hit is exactly the same right up until the stacked 18350s die. Hard for me to explain but since the chip operates on the combined voltage, the batteries still function perfectly all the way down to each battery hits around 3.7 volts. So even at when they are depleted down to 3.7 each, they are still capable of pumping like 7.4 volts! Try vaping a battery depleted down to 3.7 on your grand - it's starting to taper off once your battery is at that point right?

7. There is allot of space inside the mod for bottle access ease.

I'd get one. Now. :)

Thanks for the detailed benefits of VV Grand, now where is my credit card, and time for me to go shopping again even though I promised to wait for a Woodvil (will still get one when available tough). :D

As far as the VV is concerned, is it marked as what numeric voltage you dialed up to? One feature which I do not like is that it requires 2 IMR 18350 batteries (I don't own 18350's and I don't like stacking batteries), or can it run on 1 IMR 18650?

These require the stacked 18350s. The 18650 by itself just doesn't have enough to do it justice. I understand your concern about stacking batteries, but these really are stable. The AW IMR 18350s aren't made to explode, they will just vent heat and gas if they go bad, but a whole lot has to go wrong in order for that to happen. The protections in the chip would have to fail and the hot spring would have to fail before a failing battery would vent. Secondly, these aren't tube mods...there is a great big hole in the door where any venting heat or gas would escape, so no pressure to build and no explosions to fear. To date, the only Reo that i know of that suffered through a venting battery was a grand (not VV) where someone went down to a Radio Shack type store and bought two small batteries that would fit, were unprotected & non-rechargeable li-ion batteries...the wrong batteries to use in ANY vaping device. The user was unharmed, the mod itself was fine, but the innards had to be replaced. Easily fixed. :) If you are interested in going the VV route, I strongly suggest you stick with the recommended batteries.

The dial is unmarked. You can mark it yourself if you like using an inline voltage meter to find your preferred setting and marking material of your choice and marking the dial. Many of us don't bother....we just tune to taste and we're good to go. :)

I don't mark my dial, either. Tune to taste -- exactly! Love my VVG.

Bro, the VVG goes from a nice super_X style vape (lowest setting) all the way up to Newman style burn your lungs out of your body.

No marks- I just turn it until I like it.

I hear you on the stacked batteries, but considering some of the things that have been close to / on my face over the years, it's no worries for this kid :)
