So I saw the "become an ex" quit smoking tv commercial and decided to try out the webby, go on the forum and see what the people are like there.

Now I'm not trying to bash out another forum site here but I'm sure you all can get a sense that I wasn't thrilled lol, but all I'm going to say is I love you guys. You all are the best support that I've ever had and we're all kinda like a little vaping family. I love how we all look out for each other and we're open-minded to something that's new (the PVs). We laugh, we cry, we celebrate our victories together.

And I just want to thank each and every one of you for that.

This is a very timely post - I quit the analogs I think 20 days ago - Yippeee. Two days after I quit ( I quit on New Year's Eve ). I was 48 hours into it and WOW - I was having a tough time to say the least, however I was very proud of myself for making it that 1st 48 hours - I posted something to that effect and I was completely blown away with what happened next - in a nut shell - I had 4 pages of comments of encouragements - I still can't believe how supportive everyone was and still is. Obviously we're all here for the same basic reason I would assume and that's to rid ourselves of the analogs + vaping is a lot of fun. When someone makes it 24 hours, or 48, or 72, or a week, a month, a year - you get the point - it really is a BIG DEAL. Honestly, I think that had I not gotten that type of support and adda boy - hang in there - I'm not sure I'd even be on this forum and writing this, so I know exactly what you're saying - THIS REALLY IS A GREAT PLACE TO HANGOUT AND GREAT FOLKS TO HANG OUT WITH !!!!

I was a member of "become an ex" back when I quit smoking for a year...(before I started vaping).

They are a good support system for quitters but do tend to look down their noses at vapers. They think it's cheating, that we aren't really non-smokers like them. After I started vaping I left the site and deleted my account. I didn't want that kind of support...the two-faced kind anyway.

Some of the worst anti-smokers are ex-smokers!! They can call me whatever they like, I don't care. Vaping is safer than smoking and I enjoy it...period.

I am really enjoying getting old and cranky !!!
