I do have to say that my success with quitting smoking can be as much attributed to the members of this site as it can be to the actual act of vaping itself. In fact I'm pretty sure I was reading some of your posts (Ladysolitary that is) as I was vaping my first 510 cart. When I'm asked about vaping I usually don't refer people to a brand of PV, or a supplier but instead I refer them to the ECF cuz...well uhh... gosh....I just love ya all too! (Dangit...see what ya did!)

Some of the worst anti-smokers are ex-smokers!! They can call me whatever they like, I don't care. Vaping is safer than smoking and I enjoy it...period.

I am really enjoying getting old and cranky !!!

Whats the difference, most of them guys used patches, pills, and gum with nic in it to quit. Bunch of dogooder they are. I'm enjoying getting old and cranky too.

I haven't been here long, but I'd have to agree. So far peeps have been awesome and I am thankful to have stumbled across this place! In the real world off the net hehe People either were super skeptic or annoying about my wanting to try the e-cig. So everyone on here were super helpful in so many ways to me! OMG. Now in the off the net world hehe I have so many people hitting my Joye510 and V4L ecigs and going OMG I gotta order some. I notice in public people either give me a dirty look lol Or stare at me, come running up asking questions and I hand out business cards for vendors on here. Now I have a lot of friend's that are vaping and new friend's that call me up asking where to get stuff for their ecigs hehe It is just wonderful!!!!!!!!!! My friend's are starting to beg me to start my own ecig business lmao

Hey Lady! I feel the same way. I also felt that way very quickly. I had been lurking for close to a year before joining. I was really wanting to try the e-cig, but had a defeatist attitude... I had already heard some of the governmental grumbling and thought, why bother, if they are just going to take it away from me? Finally just said, "Screw it!" and took the plunge.
A very interesting menagerie here at ECF! I don't post a lot, but that doesn't seem to matter. When I do, people are always helpful. The atmosphere is definitely one of family. I am always learning something new, whether it be about e-cigs, or just about any other topic. Some very smart people here. And those with quick wit keep me in stitches. This place has definitely helped with my transition into e-cigs. I vape and read and read and vape... all the while, knowing that everyone else is doing the same... it's comforting somehow! lol
ECF is like a huge wake for an old friend we had come to hate! It makes it that much easier to say good-bye.
Great post Lady, very real and heart-felt!

Yeh, Ashley, quit that other group, delete your account there. You belong here on ECF with the vapers, not with a bunch of "holier than thou's". Half of them will probably be back to smoking within a year, while we will still be vaping.

Yep yep, this is my home :)

You know its kinda funny if they actually TRIED vaping they wouldn't be suffering like they do :)
