Congratulations, Abra.

Being new, I read a lot here before ordering a Protank II. I use it mostly on a Vision Spinner 1100 mAh. Works wonderfully. It's fine when I'm working at the computer, but I wanted something lighter weight for jaunts out. I got a couple of Protank II Minis from Sweet-Vapes in Wisconsin, at about $11 each. They are glass, so I don't worry about using citrus or anything else that will kill a polycarbonate tank. They are just fine--lots of flavorful vapor. Same coil heads work in both the minis and their larger sibling. One coil, 2.5 ohms, was defective, but all the others, 1.8, 2.2, and 2.5, that I've used are going strong after lots of vaping.

I would have bought EVODs, but didn't want to invest in something that my current and future juices might destroy.

See I said you all were nice! Thanks for all the kind words!

So I'm using a Vision 1100 spinner but have a 1300 on the way. Protank I'll be trying this evening when I get home. I'm pretty lucky in that there are B&M stores nearby, several of them, so I can pop by and try different things if needed. My big problem is the dang tanks! I thought the EVOD thing would be good and I hope I don't end up hating the bottom feeding thing because the protank is also bottom feeding I believe. But over and over I've heard good things about the protank, so I'm giving it a whirl.

I like the ability to use several different juices, and assuming I like the protank, the budget isn't going to be there for me to buy 10 of them, hah! I also don't like to tinker too much. So I'm going to need a cheaper, smaller fall-back for fun stuff that isn't my all day at work juice. I like sampling! If anyone has insight into good, smaller and cheaper tanks, I would love to hear it. Also any thoughts on bottom feeding: good or bad? I'll let you know how this all works out! Thanks again for all your insight, wisdom, and support. This quitting smoking gig has been more fun that I would have thought!

Welcome Abra! Congrats on kicking the analogs. I am new to vaping too. I like the mini vivi nova for trying things. Very easy to clean, with replaceable heads so you just unscrew the old one and screw in a new one. Vapor is a little warmer then a bcc. Sorry to hear the bad experience with evod. I use an evod as my all day tank. I love how easy it is to clean and rewick (I use a lot of dark liquids so I have to rewick about every 4days or so).

I'm new to vaping too and I'm currently trying different tanks to see what I like best. I have a mini Protank that I love, an EVOD that is okay, an MT3 (my first purchase) that is okay, and three CE5s that I hated at first but now have really grown to like a lot. I've ordered a Protank II and have an Itaste MVP 2 on the way with an Iclear 30. I also want to eventually try a mini nova. While so far I love my mini Protank best, I definiitely like having the CE5s for trying different juices, and they are really inexpensive. Not sure which will end up being my sweet spot, as right now I can't really tell a noticeable difference taste/warmth of vape in BCC versus top coil. I sure am enjoying the experimenting part of this though!
