I just moved and went to the PO today. Apparently my PO is in the ghetto. Worst PO I've ever been in. Seriously it's a bad area. Not sure if I will go back. I had to wait in line to get a shipping envelope. every other PO I've been to, they are just hanging on the wall and you grab one. Have to see if there's another PO nearby.
I use the automated machine when the line is too long or I'm in a hurry, maybe you can find one someplace you feel better about. I think if you google 'post office + (your zip code)" it gives a listing of all in your area.
Tell me about the neighborhood thing. Yesterday a fellow was stabbed to death when he confronted some thieves breaking into cars. Complex where it happened is VERY close to my abode.

The only thing I worry about at the local PO is getting run over by the 90-year-old drivers confusedly driving around the lot and over the curb!
