While I've yet to even get my e-cig. There is a pub around the corner from me that won't allow them. It has a poster on the door.(Believe it or not, that's what got me curious about e-cigs.) I'm not sure why the landlord is so against them though.

Aye it just crossed my mind earlier that its probs not all plain sailing with public premises...

Hi Jacqui, it's wise not to assume that despite the legality of ecig usage, that you
will be welcomed with open arms in establishments. Always best to ask first, is my
personal feeling.

The vapour from ecigs is very realistic, the cig alikes, can lead smokers to think that it's
ok to spark up indoors as well . . . that's quite likely to be an issue that landlords have
encountered and why they so no to vaping on their premises.

Yes the vapour is very realistic. Well maybe the marketing should be changed to say its legal anywhere but you probs still wont be allowed, lol

I think when I get mines I'll still go out with the smokers. I really like the social aspect of smoking. I wouldn't want to sit inside alone vaping while everyone is outside chatting. :(

That and I think perpetua makes a very valid point. It would send a signal to other smokers that it's ok to spark up. Especially late at night when some landlords allow you to smoke inside anyway. I mean if you were a landlord it would be a lot easier to just ban them in your pub, I guess. Running a pub isn't easy so they might view it as one less headache to deal with.

I reckon most places will be fine with it though.

I like the social aspect of smoking as well, but it would be nice not to have to go out in the rain to smoke anymore, we only get about 7 dry days a year here, lol

I've used mine everywhere from nightclubs to asda, my work van and in the office. Although I occasionally get asked about it, I am more than happy to get talking about it and the benifits although I sometimes get that feeling that I am explaining way too much about them than the other person expected and sound very geeky. Those type of people tend to back off slowly while I'm still chatting there ear off lol.

I am up for vaping in the toilet as long as the alarm doesn't go off and I end up getting arrested for it :p

Vape in the loo before the flight, while all the other smokers are chewing off their nails staring at their 800 fags nicely wrapped up in film :)

I considered vaping in the toilet, but the queue was busy.
