My friend was in need of a lighter bcuz he needed to light his traditional cigarette. We couldn't find any lighters or matches so i decided to crank my sigelei 150w to 150 watts running at .5 ohms. As suspected, the rda caught on fire and he was able to smoke his cigarette. Just wondering, does this ruin the mod or rda at all? Thanks

Well short answer would be yes.

If you keep doing that, the first casualty will be the electrical insulators in the rda.

Worst case scenario: fire + battery = uhoh

True, i'm not so concerned about the rda though because its a cheap clone. My main concern is if it will damage my mod after once or twice of doing that. Thanks for the input!

If the insulators in the RDA melt and create a hard short then yes there is a chance it could harm the mod. While a nifty parlor trick the one time, I certainly wouldn't recommend repeating it ;-)
