OK guys, this is my first mechanical and I love it. I wanted it to hit harder so i used am emory board to get down to brass. Then i used a fine grit 600 sand paper to smoothe it out. So far i have exposed the inner contact, and the contact near the fire button to brass. While i tried to pop off the head of the K100 I accidently dinged the contact a bit,(you will notice in 1 of the pictures). Will this give me voltage drop,or lesson my contact? Is there anything else i can do to lower my resistance, any advice or criticism will be highly appreciated

That ding shouldn't be a problem, as long as it doesn't have protruding perimeter. So as long as the remaining area is flat and smooth should not matter.

I did similar tuning to mine. (Without taking the cap off, I sanded it while still inside). I can tell the difference even though I am using a 1.3ohm atty (mini-DID clone).

Apart from the stiff button, this is a great mod for the price.

wow i sorta forgot about this thread because no one was replying for so long! getting the head off is easy just put a long spacer inside the tube on the outer part, not on the pin(my mistake) and just hammer it out,it will pop out pretty easy. I do belive it is hitting harder after what i have done but once in a while it doesnt fire, not sure why i think i need to do a good cleaning,my button is not stiff at all

How did you sand the center post on the top deck (top side that makes contact with the atomizer)?

Just the lazy way (which generally means you end up spending more time overall :) ) : Cut a small piece of sand paper, put it on my index finger, got it into the tube and gave my finger a nice workout. :)

EDIT: typo
