Kamry K1000 w/protank??

I saw in another thread where someone had the Kamry K1000 e-pipe and has put a Protank II tank on it. How is this possible? I have both and it can't be done. Different threading. He didn't specify mini or not so maybe that's it.

I cannot reply I. The post because of my "noob" status, but can anyone explain how this can be done?

The only info that I found that might help, "to work with Protank you need a 510 to ego adapter as it doesn't have ego cone threading".

A local vape shop in my town sells adapters, so I'd imagine that's what he used. Or he just used brute force and cross-threaded his Kamry? That would be impossible if the Kamry uses 510 threading though, as 510 and 808 are completely different in build and diameter. At least in all the instances that I've encountered them.

Thanks for the responses. It may have been the regular protank and not the mini.

Having atty issues with it now. Love it, but this is a deal breaker.

The regular protank wwill thread ringht on. To use the mini you need the adapter.

Has anyone figured out how to get the stem to fit in the protank mini. It is slightly too long. Can it be cut down?

I just use it as is. I thought about cutting it down but decieded not to bother.

hi i have just got my kamry k1000 and i must say i like it a lot, not to keen on the atomizer or the batteries but i had already been told they are not the best but i intended to change both anyways as my idea when i purchased it was to customize it, i have just ordered a aspire vivi nova BDC in purple to match the pipe and i believe this tank will take the drip tip that comes with the pipe because its a push in 510 end not screw in, just wondered if anybody on here knows if you can use 18350 1200mAh batteries with this pipe that might give it a better kick in the vape or could anybody recommend any better 18350 900mAh batteries than the ones that come with it as the charge doesn't seem to last very long, but i suppose they only supply cheap batteries anyway and any ideas from anybody about atomizers will be much appreciated, sorry for the long post but this is also my virgin 1st post, cheers lenny

I got the Efest 900mah and so far the "good" vape has lasted over 3x longer then the stock Kamry Batts
