I had come across this VV mod with ohmmeter including an X8 carto tank, two cartomizers, two 18650 batteries, a charger, and a case for under $20! I thought the price was probably a mistake because the seller was asking $40 more for the same model in other colors. The listing was gone before a friend that I told the same day could find it. However, the seller was awesome enough to still honor it & I anxiously awaited for its speedy delivery! I contacted the seller after I received it asking if the price was an error which indeed it was, so balancing being the nice guy that I try to be with also trying to get a good deal, I have offered to meet him half way with the price difference & toss him 20 bucks. After all, the reason I chose this mod was because of the price, I would have chosen a different one for the full price before I got it.

Now that I have gotten it & tried it out... It's my first mod & is setting the standard for me. The variable voltage is awesome for dialing in that perfect vape regardless of the coil:tank setup. I have compared the ohmmeter with my fluke & it does read consistently .2Ω less than my quality multimeter, but it is bringing the fluke into question since the K200 readings are closer to spec on coils than my fluke. It also has a battery meter on the screen, and displays the number of tokes since the last power off. It also uses an RGB LED & lets you change the display color.

My only gripe with the Kamry is that it only has the 510 threading, so if you want to use an ego threaded tank you'll need an adapter. This means I can't use my Kanger Protank Mini or EVOD on it, but I've tested it with a Kanger protank2 & with an Aspire Nautilus... and even basic CE4 clearomizers. They all work great! With the VV, you can raise the Voltage to maintain the desired current level from higher resistance coils... or lower Voltage for lower resistance coils... Or higher if you're a cloud chaser :vapor:

The description said it came with an atomizer but was a X8 carto tank. The included cartomizers flood from the tank. The tank has a fill hole w/ set screw on the top which I have read does a good job not flooding as long as the screw is tightened. However, the tank has now completely drained into & flooded the carto. I read good reviews on the tank but saying that the cartos are rubbish and should be replaced with better ones. Maybe I'll buy some good cartos & try it again, but definitely not going to put good liquid for a test run again! I had only used clearomizers before this testing and still think they are the way to go.

As for the batteries, they are rated for 2000mAh, but haven't tested them long enough to see how long they actually hold a charge... in testing right now. So far I have taken 150 puffs off of a fully charged battery which read 4.18 Volts off the charger, & right now the battery meter is showing 3/4 battery left. The instruction book says that 3 lines indicates 4.08 > Vbatt > 4.00. I have read warnings dealing with cheap battery chargers, which some have reported will continue to charge a battery once it is fully charged so if you leave it on the charger it'll overcharge & explode... I haven't left them on the charger long enough to test this, maybe I'll try it in my backyard on an extension cord under controlled conditions, but just in case I have a NiteCore Intellicharger on order along with two Panasonic 3400mAh batteries.

I am quite impressed by this unit & hope the quality holds up. I'll reply with updates if I have any issues with it.

Cheers:vapor::vapor::vapor:

thanks for the review i ordered one yesterday before looking up reviews and the one i found made me almost regret it but the guy just kept complaining about the battery being drained because of the lighting which doesnt bother me but he over all gave it a bad review and didnt really justify anything except his battery gripes.

I started getting a similar issue with mine where every so often I will go to take a hit & it will read that there's a bad coil but then the next hit it works fine. That's kind of frustrating, but it only does it every so often... I think it just needs a clean connection & you know how gunk can build up in the threading... All & all, for the >50$ pricetag I would recommend an SVD based off of a friend's experience, but I've read bad reviews on it too. So I guess no matter what you choose there will always be QC issues.
