I bought 2 Protanks recently and both the bottom caps have broken the threads off. I am unable to screw them into my pv now. Bummer! Can these bottom caps be replaced anywhere? It would suck to toss the whole tank and parts it came with over the bottom cap.

Thanks for any incite.

I've been using the new tatroe bottom cap from Cigtechs for about a week now and love it, has perfect draw, and looks way better than the stock cap imo

Yeah I just got my bottom caps today and put one on my Tatroe tank. Already the tatroe tank even with the Protank v1 base had a slightly better draw. I used an evod head first with protank heads on standby but the evod head draw was perfect. I usually remove a wee bit of wick or trim the silicone cup over the wicks but found I did not have to do any of that with the Tatroe base. The fit is perfect. Finish is a perfect match too.

Mine didn't come with a silicone ring (not the cup, the ring that seals between the base and the tank) and I tried it without but had leaking. Huge hits but gurgling/leaking. No problem. I just used the silicone ring off of the old protank base I had been using and I hits absolutely perfect now. Draws great. Zero leaking with 60PG/40VG at about 70degrees Farenheit.

Haven't tried it with the protank heads yet. I'm assuming the changes they made in the draw were mostly to address the too-airy draw on the protank heads but with the silicone ring added to the Tatroe base and an evod head stock it hits and feeds perfectly. Looks great.

Nice, Mine didn't come with a silicone ring either, was wondering about that. I threw the old one out that broke but haven't had any leaking yet... Hopefully stays that way
