I have spent hundreds of dollars on different tanks. Finally about 2 years ago I settled on the Vision Vivi Nova Mini. I have praised this tank for quite awhile for its ease of use, flavor and reliability. Its a good tank, for me.

A couple weeks ago I tried the Kanger AeroTank. I tried the bottom coil tanks a few years ago, they were not ready for primetime, how the times have changed. The Kanger AeroTank is a solid performer. Sound construction, glass tank, and the best feature its unique airflow ring. The taste and vapor is clean and crisp.

This solves three problems I have had in the past:

1. Glass tank - I have had problems in the past with plastic tanks, some of my more acidic juices broke down the plastic, with the glass tank of the AeroTank its not a problem.

2. Air Flow Control - Most vapers like a certain type of drag, some like a tight draw others a loose draw. The air flow control ring gives you a choice for either.

3. Location of Air Holes - While not the first, having the airholes above the screw in hole just makes sense.

Now the price, it is a bit more expensive then most tanks, however its better quality by far.

I don't post a lot of reviews, I have to truly believe in what I am reviewing and put my money where my mouth is. In the last 2 weeks I have purchased 4 Kanger AeroTanks at around 20 bucks each, I am slowly replacing my Vivi Novas.

Its worth a try if your looking for a good, sound tank and like to control your draw. Hope it helps.

I agree Mezzum. My Sigelei V5 kit came with a PT1, which I fixed with an aero base. Then I got a PT2 and added the aero base. Since then it has been Protank Aeros. You covered the pros: adjustable airflow, glass tank, etc. To me, this is crucial, as I want control over the draw. On the mini PT2, I had to do this by covering one of the 3 holes with tape to tighten it up some. Since then, have switched to Aspire ETS BDC a for small loads. They seem to have perfect draw for me. I recently took delivery of an AeroTank Mega. Whoa! Now That is a nice unit. I like the aero-type bases, as if they leak, juice doesn't go down the fire pin hole, it comes out the air intake holes, which are on the sides. This would not be good on my Sigelei 20 watt, which has a spring-loaded fire pin. The juice might leak down into where the board is. (Kablooey!) The mega also has a stainless piece to use instead of the glass. (Good for a different look, or if dropped.....gasp!). Has an improved intake ring; and it allegedly holds 3.8 ml of juice. Con: $40 MSRP

Slight con: looks almost empty, even when it's filled. You have to invert it to see where the level is....

^This, so much this!!!! I love my mega, but when it's totally full it looks only half full. When it's half full it looks empty! That being said, it's solid as a rock!

I bought the Aerotank Mega a couple of days ago and it's a good vape. I think my Aspire Nautilus edges it out in flavor, though. The new heads are out. Mine came with one new head (long slot in the side for juice absorption) but the spares I bought in the 5 packs were the old heads with two small holes. Both wick just fine.

Rebuilding will be about like the Aspire Nautilus. The coils sit down inside a tube where the new coil will have to be wicked before inserting, unlike the PT2.

Not sure how all of your luck played out with the Mega, but mine started leaking something fierce. Like drinking juice through a straw. Nothing I tried would get it to stop, finally I've just given up and got a Nautilus.

What kind of juice were you using? I'm using like 90%VG in mine and its working fine. I was concerned about dry hits, but I can run it wide open and not have a problem. The inverse could be true with high PG juice. If you have the airflow running tight, the vacuum increases and your odds of flooding are a lot higher
