I was led to believe that my kanger aerotank would fit on my evic supreme. I tried threading it on but the evic doesn't recognize the atomizer so I guess there is no connection. Is there anyway to make my aerotank work on my evic supreme? is there some sort of adapter that I need?

it's the aerotank mow btw. Everyone who I've talked to says it should work yet the evic says "no atomizer found". i think i need a new head for the tank. not sure what to order though.

Does the top of your battery look like this:
If so, sounds like the center pin of the battery is not making a connection with the atomizer of the tank. This usually occurs from over-tightening the tank onto the battery connector. Center Pin Issue - Fixing a non firing eGo battery
Make sure that if you use something conductive (metal) to pry up on the center pin that you do NOT hit the fire button while you are working on the battery. Or better yet, turn off the battery.

hmm okay. that's exactly what it looks like. i haven't overtightened it...actually just got it today. i think i may need some sort of adapter.
I have never seen a Kanger tank that didn't have either ego or 510 threads. Try taking your tank apart and make sure the coil is well screwed into the base.
it looks like the sides of the tank are bottoming out on the side of the evic so it can't screw in all the way. pretty dumb design.

Try either pulling the pin down slightly on the bottom of the tank or just lift the center pin on the Evic slightly. Remove the battery, just lift all around the center pin until it connects.
No need for an adapter. It should work but doesn't. The fix is simple. You paid good money for both so it can be frustrating.
I had the same issue with a 95 dollar Russian on my Provari. I lowered the pin on the topper and it worked.

i bought the evic supreme replaceable threads but i'm afraid its going to be exactly the same. someone told me they are a bit different....we'll see.
Remove the top beauty ring on the supreme? I know my mini, when screwed all the way on disappears below the ring obscuring the air holes so I would remove it for better air, if it's bottoming out before it's all the way down, that might help!
I've got the supreme as well with the mini protank, I had to remove the beauty ring to get the tank off. I'll see if I can't go by a B&M that I know carries the protank and see if I have any problems getting it on mine! I'll let you know what I find!
