Besides having a airflow control valve thats different what advantages does the aerotank v2 have over the original, and what differences besides coming completely apart do they have over the emows? Everyone is crazy about them and im wondering why?
I don't have a V2, but I do have an Aerotank. Looking at the specs it looks like it has an improved airflow system. I like the fact that they come completely apart. makes it easy to clean. It comes apart easy and goes back together just as easy.
Cool new shiny factor? About all I can see. With the original Aeros on wide open, you were limited by the airflow through the coil pill itself, so it's not like you could improve that without redesigning the coil.
Vs EMOWs, the cleaning, and size factor. EMOWs only look right on the 13mm Spinners. Aeros work on everything else.
The difference is that the V1 is loose. That is from the reviews (Pbusardo) and youtube. I bought the V2 a month ago and it's working just great and I don't see a need to upgrade. Never used the V1 but the stink on it is that it's loose and moves around to much when handling. The V3 looks cooler...so there's that. I have to say that I really like my Aerotank and like that they're making the airflow bases compatible with the protanks. I just haven't had the money to buy any new air flow bases for my mini pro 3"s....they work just fine for now but it would be nice to dial the airflow in.
I love my Emow Mega, 19mm wide looks great on my istick.
The airflow ring is good and as they take the new enclosed dual coils the pin in the bottom of these the hole is wider, near on 2mm so airflow is great.
I have the V2 it works really well but it tastes muted or a strange taste. Maybe the coil? Still using the one the came fitted. Or maybe I'm using to high a volt. I'm on 4v
Base on the point of veiw I interpret from the OP.. Ignoring airflow and cleaning, ect. The aero looks better. Essentially they are the same except for looks. Same chimney design, same coils same airflow control design. only real differences are airflow, size and appearance.
