Kanger coil rebuild flooding issues

Whenever I try to rebuild a Kanger coil with cotton it all goes well until I put it in the tank with the juice, then it floods....any idea what to do about this?I don't have any extra silica flavor wicks......And that's the only thing that comes to mind honestly

Try cotton instead of silica. Silica is garbage.

Kanger coils are so small that having a little too much cotton has never been an issue for me. After installing the coil, take a bit of tightly twisted cotton and thread the coil. The wick should be just snug inside the coil. Clip the excess and fluff with a toothpick or something small so the cotton fills the gaps. I've never had flooding or dry hit issues wicking this way. It does take some practice to get just the right amount of cotton though.

I've been using as much cotten as I can slide through the wire (before it starts to bend it) and still no luck ;l

I used to have the same problem. If you don't put a flavor wick on top of the coil then there's a gap there for liquid to rush in. Make a flavor wick with cotton and put it on top of the coil and cut it to the same length as the coils wick.
