Kanger Dripbox spitting hot liquid?

Anyone else having the problem of the atty on the Dripbox spitting hot liquid at you when vaping? I love the mod, just don't like the occasional hot juice spitting at me. I've found that if you fire it for a second before actually vaping, you don't get as much, but am wondering if anyone has found a solution to the problem. I've already ordered a Velocity 2 clone with hollow center pin to use on the Dripbox and see it that solves it, but there's got to be a way to get the original atty to stop doing that.

Hello @johnm1971. I'm wandering if you might be over-squonking a bit (pressing the bottle a little too often), as this will cause spitting because it'll flood the wicks causing tiny puddles to form that'll explode when heated (and when you press the fire button its burning off the excess juice). Try too take a few pulls dry the wick a bit then squonk.

The Velocity v2 is a better atty than the default Kanger one.

I have got the dripbox but carnt say if the atty spits because I put my Velocity v2 clone on as soon as I got it and tossed the Kanger one,lol.

Seriously, Spitting is Excess liquid droplets being cast of by sudden heating of the coil. Best to not Squonk until ready to Vape.

There are even a few drip tips available that shield from direct to coil alignment.

Hm. I didn't think I was flooding it, but just got it, so maybe I am. Thanks for the input!

Just received my Velocity 2 with hollow center pin for my Dripbox and it works like a DREAM! Love it!
