Hi, I'm new here and needed some info if anyone can help out. I recently switched after years of using a regular pen style e-cig to finally getting a Kanger Dripbox. (My first RDA). So far, I am absolutely in love with it! I am concerned though as I am inexperienced with 18650 batteries and the proper way to charge them. So far, I've only used the usb port on the Dripbox itself and the cord the mod came with, plugged into my computer. I've had the battery stop working after a couple hours of vaping and used the usb cord as a passthrough while charging. This has worked pretty well so far. I'm just concerned because I've heard all the horror stories of misusing these batteries. I just want to make sure I'm not doing anything dangerous. Any advice or info would be welcome. Thank you :)

Been charging mine w/out an issue for some time, so you should be fine.
Granted things can go horribly wrong with EVERYTHING as far as charging ANY electronics go, but by keeping your mod on non-flammable surface while charging your as safe as you can be.
Might wanna get a battery charger though, charging up via USB takes a while.

I haven't USB charged mine yet - I just swap in a new battery...
"A couple hours" seems kind of quick!
Granted, I haven't even tried using the included atty - I put other atties on, and run about 0.4 to 0.5 ohms, which will last longer...but still, I'd be surprised by a full battery getting drained in a couple hours... No?

Thanks for all the replies and links, they've been quite helpful. :) I think my battery only lasted a couple hours initially because I couldn't wait to get started when I got everything. I wasn't sure if the Samsung battery I got came fully charged or not. Guess not. Since then, I've charged it more and it holds for longer.
