Hello everyone!
I have seen many videos and tutorials on how to rebuild the old kanger dual coil, but it seems that they use a wire like kanthal. Because i am new to this(rebuilding coils) i wanna ask if is possible to rebuild this little coil with clapton wire. Will it be harmful to an ego battery(650mah)? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks a lot.

Edit: Sorry for posting in this section, i reliazed that there is another one for this kind of matter after i had posted...

I've got a Kanger Top box mini, never got much flavor from it, I bought a deck for use with the tank but it wasn't that good. I next tried a Vaperesso Gemini RBA which has the dual coils and finally started getting some flavor.
When I think of Clapton I think of SS but found they also have SS and Kanthal wire coils. I'd say the important thing
is will it be used in temp or wattage mode and what is the resistance you will be using. I'm use to the 16850 which provide a lot more current.

With nickel coils I was able to make coils and then move the tank to the Kanger or Eleaf Pico. With the SS I got a nice stable coil at .40 ohms, It worked in the Kanger and it worked in the Smok, bringing it back to the Kanger it stopped working. Smok takes a .4 and Kanger takes a .50 ohm coil, Always something with that SS coil.
