I was looking on the official US Kanger website (KangerTechUS.com) Home - KangerTech US, LLC , and I found that they are now selling the new EVOD 2 (BDC)! I do not think it is currently for sale anywhere else. Does anyone have any thoughts on this new Kanger EVOD 2? I'm thinking about buying one and would really like any input. :)

Who cares?

That website is an excuse to take people's money and put bona fide vendors out of business.

I wouldn't shop there if there was an Evod 3.0.

there are only two possibles here.

1) It's a genuine Kanger company website... which begs the question "why are they shafting their US resellers"

or

2) It's just an everyday website pretending to be something special... which begs the question "why is it such bad value".

Either way, I am surprised.... and deeply unimpressed.

The way I first found them was through the Kanger China website (http://szkanger.com/about.asp?ids=7), so I'm sure they are the real US Kanger website.

I'm not worried about reselling because almost all products from all industries (clothing brands, video game brands, etc.) not only sell in places like Wal-Mart, department stores, and online retailers., but also have their own official online store. It is a common practice. And Americans are still getting jobs for the products being sold in America.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the product itself? I'm eager to try one and want to know opinions!

Not impressed either. I can get Kanger less expensive from my regular site I buy from.

I received mine today. The "brushed aluminum" finish is very nice. It looks natural screwed onto an itaste MVP. The evod 2 came packaged in a sealed blister bag.
And included only one coil. The coil included reads at 1.6ohms. Which works at the 8 watts I cape at. I filled the tank with some 50/50 12mg thug juice from MBV
The first draw you immediately realized that its not as airy as other kangers. Very good vapor production, and great flavor. For under $8 this guy is a winner in my book.

Ridiculous. They are ALL there to "take people's money" and most of the prices on the site are easily beat to heck. Company owned or not; some folks like them and frequent the place. It's called, "Free Enterprise" and I find it no more 'offensive' than the recommendations for any other 'vendor' plastered all over this very site.

To the OP ---- it looks 'interesting'. Perhaps when readily available at my local shop I will take a look.
