Kanger K-box ?

Does anyone know about the new Kanger Kbox ? It looks cool, but with batteries, charger, and a decent atty, it's about $100+ investment.
Any experience with this model, and is it worth it ?

Unless you are are a 'power' vaper (I am not) it's only got three settings... 8w, 13w, 20w.

If you are happy with 25, 30, 35, 40 it could be a cheap mod. Thing is though, the K-Box itself is only $29. If you are going to spend $100 total on batteries and charger, you may as well get a mod with all the watts and volts settings.

I just ordered one yesterday and should have it this weekend. I am going to try it with the Subtanks first and then some RDAs.

Lucky I didn't expand on my comments really. Like I said, if the higher watt settings work for you... it's a good mod!

If it had simple and cheap fine adjustment, at least on the low end, it would make a great starter mod or every day carry backup for people that use 18650s.

I thinks it's a great first try.

It's fine. Never done it in 5,000 posts... had to happen eventually.

I'm looking forward to news on it... most modern tanks are good for the upper watt range, just not my stuff.

maybe it has 14 set wattages by the looks of the pic.

It's got no screen though, so it's not going to show ohms or troubleshooting information.

I do not sub-ohm so most of my vaping takes place at 6-10 watts. I like the looks of the k-box, but can't for the life of me imagine why I need something that has 1 setting I might use and 7 settings I would likely never use. If it had an ohms meter or something...maybe.

This k-simar mod sees heavy daily use from me. It's the smoothest power I have here (and there are a few boxes here now)...my go to device. The bottom cap is off twice a day....threads still like silk.

I would buy the k-box if had an ohms display or any display... it's probably built like a tank. but no ohms... deal breaker.

I paid about $26.00 and enjoy it when my wife is not vaping on it. Sometimes simple can be refreshing.

I was looking at this the other day. Yeah it is about 30 bucks elsewhere. No digital display, just leds that show what wattage you selected. Looks like for 40W+ you'll have to spend more money for the digital reading.

I just got mine a week ago. Love it topped with the Subtank Mini. Battery life is top notch. Been vaping between 20w and 35w on a .5ohm coil and usually go through 1 battery a day with lots of chain vaping.
