I just purchased my first box mod. The Kanger KBOX. Does anyone know if the threads are Stainless Steel? I saw on another thread that someone was having a problem with them stripping.

I don't think they are. They look like aluminum to me, which is fine for the price point. At $26 they're pretty nice.

Not sure but nothing to worry about, mine has been a champ.

Stripping threads in the 510 connector is almost always caused by the use overtightening their tanks. They only need to be snug enough to not unscrew themselves, but some people seem to think they need to be as tight as they can possibly get them which damages the threads.

I just received mine on Wednesday from Myfreedomsmokes for $25.10 with fifteen percent off my first order and shipping of $3.04. I love it! So I'll be careful not to over tighten my tanks. My old Sigelei Zmax Mini had brass threads and I had to use Pipe tape and wrap my Aspire Nautilus threads just to use it....It was a pain in the a**.
