Kanger knockoffs?

I ran across this by accident. Apparently, making knockoff products is normal in China. Vision has a clearomizer on their website that looks just like the Kanger T2.

It says:
This product was Not first made by us , one of our customer bought some samples from Other factory sent to us . and ask us To make the same version . we did the Job , in the meanwhile did a lot of improvement .

Also, there is a big 808 vendor that says they’re getting T3s that are not made by Kanger. I would guess Vision is making those too. I’m not sure I really care if Vision copies Kanger products, but it just doesn’t seem right.

Everyone copies everyone in the ecig world... kinda funny though since everyone usually copies what vision makes. Stardusts, Novas, ex.

Some people take an idea they see and copy it with crappy materials and parts just to make money, other try to not only copy but improve on it. Sounds like vision is trying to improve on the original design.

At least they admited they didn't invent it unlike everyone else that claims they came up with the idea themselfs when we all know they didn't.

Looking at the new set of replacement coils I got for my T2's, they are extremely long wicked like the Vision ones and not the normal mid length long wick I have received and is on Kanger's site.

I'm pretty sure that neither Kanger or Vision have factories to build their products, there are fabrics that manufactures these products for them and are the same fabrics that make the knock-offs, and worst the same companies order their own products but with other brands so they can skip licensing issues and commercialization agreements they have with some shops. It's the jungle out there...

It sure would be cool to have a stardust vision style clearomizer with metal drip tip, metal tube with clear glass window to see the juice level (kinda like the nova metal tubes), extra thick O-rings and sleas all around, and the ability to replace the wick and coil easely.

I wish they would ship the T2'w with the metal mouthpiece you can buy separately. Every plastic mouthpiece I have has broken.

I hope somebody comes out with a T3 that has a solid color tank and a clear window. I've never been a big fan of top coils.

Guess I totally missed that thread. If somebody starts selling Vision copies, I hope the parts are interchangable.

I just hope they improve on it. Kanger seems to be getting better reviews for their clearomizers latley, so it would seem logical they would try to copy it.

Chinas production industry is all about copying other company's inventions. From dysons bladless fans, ipods, iphones... just about anything. With no regulations on that kind of stuff everything is fair game.

China did invent the ecig though if I remember correctly.

It would be nice to see some 'rebuildable' clearos with a glass housing as opposed to a plastic one.
I would be willing to pay more for them

Preferably bottom coils

Take a T3, apply a piece of tape the size and shape of the window you want, paint it, peal the tape off.

Yeah, If I tried that, it would look like crap. I think I'd rather buy a MT3 that looks like it was made by somebody that knew what they were doing. I think they have a rubberized finish like my eGo batteries.

I don't mind knockoffs as long as they work properly. I ditched my T2 thanks to flooding, but the labeling is Kanger, they call it "Ego cc clearomizer
