Dear Vapors

can I buy MT3 clearomizer and change the tank onto a Evod base will it fit becsuse MT3 tank holds more E-liquid and evod replacement coils that's why can someone help

I have not tried this, but if it uses the same coil to begin with, why would you want to switch the bases? Why not just use the MT3 and the base that comes with it?

No - they do not. The coil and the base it fits into for an EVOD and PT is different than the base and coil for an MT3s and T3s. trying to use an EVOD coil in a MT3s or T3s base can result in flooding due to poor fit.

Beyond that it appears the base & tank threading is different. I just tried and the bases don't cross-fit from an EVOD to a T3s one to another when trying to screw them on.

6 of one, half dozen of another!
The bases of the MT3/MT3S can fit on the Evod. I have found they cause a very tight draw. The base of the Evod can fit on the MT3/MT3S. I haven't tried to use one that way, but the fit seems too loose and may leak. I've just tried this one and let you know if it does..

But... why bother? Just buy the MT3/MT3S

Seems we have a difference of opinion here, huh? It's working on my end. Using an T3 base fit fine, using a T3S base also worked on an evod. My evod bases fit loose, but are working on my MT3. I am sure it will leak sometime soon though..

all the threads are same and x-fit

but when you switch, look at how the silicone cup of the coil does not 'mate' up
with the air tube inside...

I think the issue OP is asking is OP has an older MT3 (not MT3S)
which has the combo coil/base
and asking how, will, can he switch to replaceable coils

this might be what will fix what is asked if I got it straight...

- Kanger MT3s Base Replacement

Quite possibly. and yes, it would be best just to get the T3S bases instead of using evod bases. Mine are all MT3's with the new T3S base added later so I could replace the coils.

MT3 with evod base on ego battery/T3 base/T3S base/evod base
The evod worked.. was too "wet" for me but hasn't leaked yet. Best to use the T3S base.
Done playing, back to using my RC200's.. :D

I was going to suggest the upgraded base as well. I still believe the replacement coil you need for the MT3(s) is different than the EVOD replacement, but still, if you get that new base, now you can at least have a replacement coil system (and rebuildable, if you're into that) with the MT3s. As far as mixing and matching bases/coils, it does sound that results may vary among users. However, it's worth a try to see if it works for your setup.

I'll be doing that exact experiment this weekend, to see if one type of replacement works across all my Kanger parts (EVOD, unitank, MT3). I can report back with full results for those of us with mixed gear, since the internet wisdom on this seems divided on whether they are functionally cross-compatible. I see some will say they fit, but do they work is the question...

:2c:
with my genuine kanger
the T3S tank has a 'lip' inside which makes the entrance smaller
and in turn the bigger coils (all kanger except T3S coils) won't fit inside

then one (can't remember now, and not gonna empty tanks to see)
when screwed in does not reach far enuff to 'seat' against the air tube
inside the tank...

heck, you can screw the protank base into the evod & mini protank tank

the T3S coils (being of smaller diameter) will fit all my kanger bcc's
but NOT vise-versa...

this is MY experience with the kanger tanks I have and use...

just seems there is some inconsistencies with all these bcc tanks by kanger
and best advice is, just have to try and see what fits what...

MT3s vapes quite a bit differently than an Evod. To me the MT3s is just really airy, even after plugging one of the holes. The Evod is a lot more to my liking, but it would be great to have an Evod that holds 2.5 mil. Kanger should make a bigger Evod...that would solve the issue.

here's a tip :

if you mess with the coils, take the chimney off the evod coil and
put it on the MT3S coil (switch chimneys around)

evod coil chimney is shorter and has a smaller inside diameter (less air)

only trouble is they no longer make the evod (old) style coil, so hopefully
you have some around to try...
