The MT3's are just regular T3's with a metal sleeve over the plastic tank, so the plastic tank could still crack and leave you with a delicious smelling mess. The metal just makes it look fancy and makes it more sturdy but the inner tank is still plastic.
Everyone is raving about the T3 and the new MT3--reviewers, on the various podcasts and video shows, other local vapers--so I decided to order a couple, which came in Friday.
I filled my MT3 with one of my "go-to" juices--AiV's "Twas Brillig", and started vaping it as soon as I got home from work. It is very gurgly, and the vape was weak. After a few minutes, I realised my hand was actually wet--the darn thing leaked like a sieve.
...? I'm no newbie--I have half a dozen Vivi Novas--NONE of which have ever leaked. I have other clearos (CE3, CE5, Sax) and 901 atties and a couple RBAs, and they all seem to work.
I wasn't carrying this MT3 around in my coat pocket, I didn't turn it upside down, I didn't do anything out of the ordinary with it. I didn't even lay it down on the table. Filled it, held it upright, and started vaping--and I lost about 1/3 of a tank of my favorite juice all over my mod and my hand.
So is there something I did wrong? Is this a "known issue" with some of the MT3s, and if so, is there a fix? Or did I just get a bad unit?
