Kanger pro tank 3 ! Yeaaaahhh

I just happened to break my PTmini2 last night and bought the protank 3 today which i didn't know was even out!

great vapor production and taste, as expected!

love this baby!

anyone else got one yet?

no but i broke 2 pro tank mini 2s in the last week getting expensive like to get a pro tank 3 but there is not many stores in the uk yet so will have to wait till i got a big enough order or i end up paying £3 postage

I picked up a PT3 last week at a local brick and mortar. I can see some improvements, but out of the box, as with the previous versions, I still get tons of flooding, leaking and less vape than I am used to with other devices. I am about to do a complete overhaul on all my protanks, rebuild all the wicks and coils. After a re-build with some cotton and a better coil I've gotten good results, but I gotta say, out of the box, they are just another leaky clearo imo.

I hear ya on that. I might have spoke too soon!

I know my battery isnt fully charged, but im still getting pretty low vapor production using Halo menthol ice. Maybe the wicks havent primed yet or something, im pushing out 8watts and still low , very low vapor

what gives?

Could really be any number of things, but I do find that the wicks that ship in Kanger's pre-assembled coils tend to take a good 10 mins to properly prime up for usage. I usually wash them when I take them out of the box, allow them to dry, then add juice.

would anyone recommend switching from the stock silica wicks that come with the PT3 , and switch to cotton wicks?

if anyone has suggestions on if I should use a cotton flavor wick and a cotton wick in the coilds let me know
