Kanger Pro Tank2 Glass broke

I have had this device for two days. I cleaned it out after 1 use,and when I put it back together the glass cracked in a perfect straight line from top to bottom. So now I ordered 2 replacement glasses for it. I guess they knew the glass was fragile , thats why they came out with the replacement tubes so quickly. So be warned the glass is very fragile. I am glad I have 3 original protanks for backup.

I had a feeling, the way it tapers at the top and bottom for the metal to screw into into it directly means if you over tighten you run that risk. I had the glass break on a mini Davide a week ago, it shattered so the glass is not tempered, at least the PT2 looks to still be tempered.

Yes it is tempered. It cracked in a perfect straight line. I actually heard it.

Protank 1 is tapered the same way too. I had to pull one of mine apart to replace the upper o-ring. Almost looks as though it would fit perfectly in the 2
