Over the last year or so I quit everything, then back to vaping, then back to analogs for awhile.

Trying to move in the right direction again, I now have Protank/Vision Spinner as of the last 2 hours or so, and I'm loving it.

BWB Malty has always been my very favorite juice, from the first time I tried it. However, in both my Ego-T and Ego-C it would trash my coils beyond redemption amazingly fast.

Thriftiness (rebuildability) is a component of why I picked the Protank, and I'm not averse to following one of the guides that has been posted recently regarding rewicking/recoiling the head for the Protank -- but I don't want to be doing it all the darn time. :)

So I'm curious if anyone is running Malty in their protank, and whether hardware seems to cope with it well, or whether it just gunks everything up too fast.

I can't believe you asked this question!! Malty is my favorite juice also. I got my pro tank a couple of days ago and Malty is the first and only juice I have tried so far. I'm extremely concerned because I can NOT get that great Malty flavor out of this protank!! I just don't get it. Everyone raves about the pro tank and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. This same juice taste great from my evods and my phiniac tank but the pro tank is a bust. (so far anyway)

I don't do any rebuilding of hardware, so sorry I can't help you with that. I have not had any problems with Malty gunking up anything. A few times I have added a couple of drops of distilled water to my Malty to thin it out a bit.

Good luck with your P tank and your Malty. I am going to keep looking for info that may help me like this pro tank. I got 2 of them so I hope things get better.

@bullymom and anyone else who is interested --

So I discovered going through my desk drawer that I had ~25ml of Malty left from before I slipped back to analogs. I had thinned this significantly with distilled water trying to get it to work in my Ego-C, but it is still quite a bit thicker than the 50/50 mix I've been using so far in the protank.

Filled up my tank with it, and have to agree that the flavor wasn't as strong as I remember. i suppose this could be age, however.

So no worries there, but I did notice that I had to pause longer between "toots" or I'd get the occaisonal dry hit. (Not super-duper-gagging-dry, just off and slightly burnt.) Adjusting voltage didn't seem to prevent this. Over the course of the day, the juice was also becoming quite a bit darker, but malty has always done this for me.

Eventually I threw caution to the wind and (carefully) yanked about a third of the flavor wick material as I've seen FACE MEAT suggest in other threads.

Now it's wicking great, no flooding issues (so far) as I was worried I might get, and I do think it boosted the flavor a bit, but maybe that's in my head.

And -- I'd forgotten what clouds of vapor Malty can produce. Even being old and having a bit of water added (if I recall it's at least 10% distilled water now -- I got pretty desperate trying to make my Ego-C happy with it), there's easiy 2x the cloud (if not more) as I was getting from the brand new 50/50 that I was vaping all day yesterday...

Just a bit of anecdotal observation for anyone who might be looking at vaping Malty or otherwise thick juices...
