With mine I clean mine after every tankful and dryburn after every 2. So I have had some last a few weeks. The darker juices will gunk it up quicker. Usually when the vapor is not so great or it get that funky taste. Usually a dry burn will get rid of it. Just be sure to give it a good rinse after to get all the ashes and gunk off or you could get a burnt taste.

IMO they should lat you about 3-5 weeks depending on how much you vape and how often you clean them coils.
I clean my heads every day in boiling water so I do have them nice and clean for a very long time.
Once you get that burnt ashtray taste that just wont go, you know its time for a new one.

I rinse with hot water after a tank or two depending on the juice and the coils last about one and a half to two weeks. You can tell it's time when you get a funky taste or reduced vapor. Look into rebuilding coils as it is very easy and cost effective. Discountvapors is the cheapest place to buy coils and a great reliable vendor.

Thanks for the info and your fast reply Cocacola31173. I have never had any luck with cleaning so I think I may be doing something wrong.

1. I tried with hot water and then let it dry for about 2 days. When I tried to use it, It did't produce much vapor.
2. I tried another time with vodka (other members have posted about this) and still got the low vapor and a ..... taste.

Ive been using one now for about 3 days. It started producing low vapor so I added a bit more juice and I also noticed some gunk on the tip. I gave it a good blow and the crusty ..... came off. Seems to be good to go for now but I don't want to have buy one every couple days. I would like to have it last for at least a week (obviously I would prefer longer). I am assuming since its a bottom fill it may tend to get a little clogged.

Thanks again for the info.

Great info.. thank you. I'll try boiling water for the next round. How do you dry it? I have read to leave it to air dry and I have heard about using a blow dryer?

Is there any info or a "how to" type place that will teach me or show me how to rebuild?

I don't use mine that often so I can't really address the life of the atty, but I have cleaned it once or twice by soaking it in Everclear for 20 minutes then sticking it in a bowl of rice overnight. Works like new the next time I use it.

My friend suggested that I remove the second wick that's resting on top of the lower wick. I did that and it started leaking....so, don't do that.

Ha, my coils last for months at a time and I vape plenty.

Have several to rotate.
Rinse well in Hot water every tank and blow through the tube a few times to push out loose goop.
Place small finger over the bottom opening and blow into pipe to remove excess water from Wick.

Every few tanks fills:
Rinse wicks clean
Remove pipe from coil
Remove flavor wicks(tweezers help)
Use partially depleted battery to Dry burn
Pulse 3-5 seconds several times until Coil will glow even and Wick is burnt clean
Blow off or rinse carbon deposits.
Re-assemble.

I don't rebuild the coils....it's not worth it as cheap as they are. I bought a 5 pack of replacements and will give them a hot water soak every few days. Once they get to where they are tasting bad every couple of tanks, I will pull the top off and dry burn it and replace the flavor wick. I too had leaking when I tries to remove one of them. If you look it up on YouTube, you can fins a ton of tutorials. I have been vaping for a month and haven't thrown a head out yet!

This is great info. Thanks for the information. Im on my 3rd tank and its going pretty good. Once the juice is done, I'll try this method. I don't drink booze so I don't feel the need to get vodka or whatever else.

These thing at 2.5Ohm preform very well on an Ego-C pass through in pass through mode ( hold while off- Yellow vs blue light) Sure you all have a pass through somewhere. Forgot batteries in car and unable to get them plugged in the Ego-C in pass through mode and it is giving me a decent vape at 33% vg. not bad. Not going to rebuild @under $2 a head.

What EXACTLY do you use to replace the flavor wicks? I've been trying to find out for a while now.
