Kanger Protank O-Ring replacement

Has anyone seen replacement o-rings for the Kanger Protanks? I'm looking for the o-ring that goes between the bottom plate and the tank (the one you unscrew to fill every day). Mine is getting all chewed up because it unscrews with the tank part and doesn't stay on the bottom of the threads like it's supposed to.

I finally found a tank I love and of course it has to have an issue!

I know you can buy the replacement bottom plate from some sites, but it's $1.99 each, was hoping to just get the o-rings themselves.

Sounds like a hardware store project. Maybe some Teflon tape would work.

I tried one from a used Kanger MT3 and it seems to be working better and not coming off with the tank.

Sounds like a hardware store project. Maybe some Teflon tape would work.

I pulled apart my protank- what o-ring are you speaking about? I screw the coil into the base(only see a rubber ring on the coil itself). I then screw it onto the tank itself and don't see any o-ring( certainly not a black one pictured at sunvapers). I screw down until it tightens and it hasn't leaked yet, so what are you referring to?

There's an o-ring at the base of the threads on mine (the threads that attach the bottom part to the tank), maybe yours doesn't have it? Maybe it's not even needed? I might try it without the o-ring and see if it holds.
