I already did a review on the Vamo, so this is more for the Protank.
Coming from a Dual Coil tank, I'm big on huge vapor, strong flavor, strong throat hit, warm vapor, and tight draw. The Protank seems to only deliver on huge vapor, while lacking in the other departments.
If you, too are currently using a DCT and want a faster, easier method of filling/storing juice in your tank, look no further. If you want to switch to a different tank system while maintaining the desired characteristics of a DCT, you'll need an Air Flow Controller.
On its own, it's just not impressive. I added a Tank Air Flow Controller, which joins the tank to the mod and allows for adjustable airflow. This tightened the draw, helped warm the vapor a little and helps with providing better TH. Flavor is improved a little, but not by much (this will depend on the juice, of course). I use Ryder from FSUSA, and if I continue to use this tank, my next bottle will need to have an extra shot of flavor, and higher Nic level to help with the TH.
Build quality is great, but I worry about the glass if it falls. I know it's Pyrex glass, but just like with Smartphones that boast Gorilla Glass, well, glass is glass. It can still break.
It looks great with my Vamo, even with the airflow controller. I've heard of issues regarding the Vamo and Airflow Controllers (something about the center post on the Vamo being compressed too far while using the airflow controller), but I don't over-tighten anything, just screw it in until it starts to resist, and it's still sturdy.
Would I recommend the Protank? Absolutely, but I'd also recommend using the air flow controller with it.
