Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone ever made the flavor wicks any longer than what comes stock on the heads?

I replace the standard protank wick with cotton, but cut it to about the same length. This works fine for me so have never considered leaving it longer.

I get alot of dry hits on mine. I thought it might improve the wicking ability of the head

Try easing up on your draw. Longer lighter pulls work better than hitting it like an analog.

Nope, won't help. First couple times I used the cotton yarn, l left the tails long, and the only thing it did was make keeping them out if the way while putting it back together much harder. If you think about it, the "entry point" for the juice into the coil is under the juice at all times, anyway, what good will a long tail floating around do?

Well that little rubber grommet can get squished over The wicks so I thought that it might help but I can see how they could get in the way
