What's your opinion on the protank? I'm really glad to see a glass tank rather than polycarbonate. Do you guys know of any vendors that will be carrying it when comes out?

I asked Mt. Baker Vapor today and they said their next Kanger shipment will be in mid-March. Gotvapes doesn't have any plans at the moment. If anyone sees a store that will be carrying the Protank, let us know! This is what I've been looking for since I first switched to the t3

Kangers site says they should be released around Feb 20 but retail looks like it will be around $50

I just got a shipping notification from Kanger for the 2 I preordered last month. Who knows if the vendors orders are being shipped at the same time.

I just ordered one Protank directly from the Kanger website. They expect shipment on March 15, 2013 from China. Like most vapers, I don't mind paying a little bit more to get what I wanted "yesterday", lol...

It is steep, considering it is chrome plated brass. Brass is weak and brittle. Just one hard fall on the floor will probably snap off the 510 threaded post.

A week or two ago the price was around $12; now their site has it listed at $22.

By the time they hit local shelves it might reach $50 just for the tank

I've sent e-mails to other vendors asking about the expected release and list price for the Protank kit. Some are still working out prices, some have said ~$18. Maybe Sun-Vapers' current price just reflects that of Kanger (before the $18 shipping charge), and it could go down once it arrives in-country.

I think the middle-of-the-month delivery estimates will only apply to those that ordered directly from Kanger's website. Those of us that wait for local vendors will probably be waiting a lot longer. If the vendors weren't so close to receiving them, I'd just pony up the $40 and get mine from China already.
