I tried the evod on the protank, it works, but you can not put the protank head on the evod

Not without swapping posts, from what I can tell.

So far as a description of the difference in a Protank with eVod heads, the eVod head gives a tighter draw, more flavor, and more throat hit. Here's hoping the mini Protank is a best-of-both!

Not sure which thread I said it in, but I've had great success in the Kanger MT3S, EVOD and ProTank using T3S heads with EVOD tubes. This way I only have to buy one type of head and it works in all my Kanger clearos. The EVOD tube is obviously great in EVODs, it makes the draw on the T3S perfect for me (people used to think T3s were airy before protanks), and it HELPS the ProTank. The ProTank will always be airy IMO, it's just how that big sucker rolls.
