they do have replaceable heads, some folks are reporting a month or longer with regular cleaning, and others are reporting a week or less, myself got about a week and a half on the first head before it became gunked up to the point of needing cleaned so i switched heads, the heads are interchangeable with evod heads if you hadnt already found that part out.

There are many threads here on how to replace or rewick the heads as well as tips and tricks to improve performance.

Hey Terry, if you've been doing the novas these are a breeze too. It took me 2 days with my new Protank
before it got pulled apart and rewicked with my fav. wicking material....cotton.
(It was working fine, but it just "had" to be done)

I found 1.5mm in the coil with 2 strands of 1/4mm cotton atop the coil wicks well and doesn't leak a drop.YMMV.

They're usually good for 2 weeks max. but I don't pour 4ml/day through it. I still use vivi's and stardusts.

yeah,thanks for that hmt.
The problem i am having is that i haven`t been able to put this thing down,i love it lol.

There will come a time when i will make room for my novas as well, they are not redundant yet. next on my list is an evod or two,for when i am out and about.

Thanks for the advice i will give it a go very soon...Terry

Just made my first coils for the Protank and Evod, made a few bodge ups getting the hang of it but the satisfaction gained was worth it.
cannot believe i started with a garage bought lookalike ecig and made the little steps to where i am now, maybe take the plunge and take the giant leap to a re-buildable next.

Got to stop spending...............
