Kanger Sub tank getting hot

Hello guys, I have a question, I have the Aspire Atlantis set up and also the Kanger Sub tank both at 0.5 ohms. When i use the Atlantis I have no issues with
the juices getting hot but if i use the Kanger it seems that the juices get hot and then have that burnt taste. I primed the coils so i know that isnt it. And its not all the time but it seems that it happens alot more often with the Kanger and rarely with the Atlantis. Is there something I need to do with the Kanger?

Just an update, i took out the stock 0.5 ohm and made up the rba that comes with it, cottoned it up and the taste is gone, I suspect a bad coil.

good to hear ya fixed, most likely was a bad coil you had was it. what device you using with them and I tend to notice that the Kanger doesn't wick as well as Atlantis with max vg juice although since I also use the rba section of it I find 30pg/70vg works good for wicking purpose.

Kanger to me seems to work best at lower wattage around 23 watts with .5 seems to work very well I forgot to lower wattage coming from my delta 2 was at 38watts and I noticed the same thing. So be mindful of the wattage to high with the kanger and it will have that burnt taste atleast in the prebuilt coils.

I have my subtank mini on my ipv mini at 25watts and it seems to do well. Hope it was just a bad coil bud.

The recommended wattage for the .5 pre-build coil is 15W-30W which is written on the coil head. Currently vaping at 26-28W...no burnt taste
