I'm running the same setup...istick 20w with the subtank mini (which isn't so mini ). It's said that it hits best at 15-25w. I like it right around the 18w mark. The coil you wanna use is the 1.2 ohm cause the .5 won't fire on the istick 20w. It's a great little setup as long as you don't mind the little overhang off the istick, which I dont. Great vape!

Hello opinions will very on this i personauly use my subtank minin with the 1.2 coils at 25 watts. When used below that number for me it has a pause on burning the juice. Say at 18 watts it barely heats the juic 20 watts it starts to fire better 22 gets closer and 25 is were it fire right. I cant use it on my provari p3 because it fires badly at 20 watts on that device. And that device is crazy nice. But fires great on my ipv3 at 25 watts which isnt as good of a device but is a quality device. All depends on what the budget allows i would personauly say any device that fires atleast 25 watts for that tank and those coils. Ipv mini is a good device for relatively cheep in the better devices and will last a long time.

Welcome to ECF, Bobod! As you will see, opinions on this vary quite a lot! I typically vape my Subtank 1.2 OCC at 16 watts - sometimes even lower. I don't particularly like a really warm vape, and higher wattage just doesn't do much for me. I'd suggest you start at 14 watts and gradually work your way up until you find the sweet spot for your juice. Oh - and what's good with one juice may not be so good with another. Best of luck to you!

thanks guys would it help if i let you all know that i currently run a kanger aerotank mega 1.8 dual coil on 9 watts on my istick 20. and at 11.5 watts on my istick 50.
Again all subjective but if you have the istick 50w you may get more out of the subtank using that device....plus you can use the .5 coil with it. Good Luck!!
