I just watched a YouTube video and she used a screwdriver to push it through. I have a full tank so I will try when I need to refill

Try the cold water or fridge method first, screwdriver and glass concerns me.

When taking any Glass Tank off a RTA or RBA, it helps if the Glass is Completely Dry on the Outside. And wrapping a thick Rubber Band around the Glass can give you more grip. So can Rubber Gloves.

Also, if you have a Bad or Old eGo battery laying around, you can screw the RTA into the Old eGo battery to give you something to hold Onto when you pull on the Glass.

I don't like to tug on a Glass Tank when it is Attached to an Expensive Mod if I don't have to.

I've changed the rings. I had to use a toothpick to weasel under the rings. Then work your way around (kinda like popping off the top of a paint can.) Watch the direction of the flanges - you'll want to replace in the same directly.

+1 on the glass being slightly wet on the inside. I've pulled the o-rings from the Minis and the Nanos...

P.S. - the ring on the base - that doesn't seem to fit as tightly as the original. I noticed when opening the tank to clean it that the ring stuck to the glass instead of in the base.

I bought replacement colored O-rings for my Kanger Subtank mini. Has anyone found instructions on how to change those out. Been staring at my tank and can't figure out how to change them.

BTW - When you get to the Point where you are Going to Replace the O-Rings, it helps to use a Pin to get Under the O-ring and wiggle it off.

The O-Ring is made to Stretch a little. But you have to have something like a Pin with a Sharp Point to get under/Behind the O-ring to get it started.

Easiest way to take off the glass tank:

Take dental floss and wrap it in the crack between the glass and top, this will compress the o ring and help you slide it off. As you wrap more and more floss, it will push the glass away from the base. If it doesn't work, wrap more dental floss.

Where did you find your o-rings? I can't seem to find them and have heard that may be the reason my Kanger Nano is leaking.

BTW, if you want green o-rings for your STM, check out the vaporfi site. They sell green replacement o-rings that match their color scheme.
green ones are also now available from fasttech (on a slow boat...)... already have some of the vaporfi ones on a couple minis, have some of the fasttech ones on the way and will check them for fit/ seal when they arrive... maybe this week... maybe next week... you know - (notso)fasttech :)
