Just got the new subtank from a friend of mine for Christmas, so far pretty impressed. It's not an atlantis, the vape is hotter, but still good flavor. Only negative I've found so far is it is a bit top heavy, but that is to be expected with a 6ml tank. I have a 26650 mod on the way so I'm curious to see how it looks on that set up.

prob looks like a giant baton you can crack someone over the head with. the huge size of the subtank is what ultimately led me against purchasing it.

Yea it looks a bit strange on my 18650 mod, even with the beauty ring, but it does vape really well. As far as aesthetics I'm waiting on my 26650 to come in, hopefully it'll look a bit more "balanced".

I have mine on a IPV and it looks fine. I've had the Atlantis for about 2 weeks now and as far as form goes it's much nicer looking than the Subtank. I just got the Kanger a few hours ago and I do like the flavor more in the Kanger. I didn't think I would like the size but it's actually fine for a box mod. Filling it is way easier too, I just unscrewed a glass bottle and poured it right in.

I'm glad I bought both and I will use the Atlantis when out and about and the Subtank at home. Both are good products but I give the nod to the Subtank mainly because I find the vape warmer and more flavorful and I like the resistance I get from the Kanger more than the Atlantis. (resistance as in the draw)

I've had mine for two days now and I prefer it greatly to the Atlantis. I used two Atlantises exclusively (they replaced my Nautili) since Thanksgiving and they do serve a very functional and worthy purpose, IMO. But as for the Subtank, again, IMO, the flavor (at least on the .5 coil) is far, far superior to that of the Aspire .5 coil. I think it emits a much denser vapor, which is very satisfying. Likely I will end up giving one of my Atlantises to a friend who used it and liked it. I haven't rebuilt the RBA part of the Subtank yet but if the rebuildable performance is anything like the OCC coil unit then the Subtank will replace both my Lemo (great vapor/flavor but the machining was not that great, IMO) and my Kayfun (not enough vapor production for me).

Been very interested in this. How is the buildable coil? Does it end up about like a Kayfun? It IS supposed to come with a rebuildable head, right?

It has 2 decks, one for the prebuilt coils and one for rebuilding. They have the rebuildable deck set up with a dual coil and they threw in 2 other prebuilt coils. I haven't used the build deck yet, I've been exclusively using RDA's for the past year so I'm just enjoying the luxury of vaping 6 mls of liquid without dripping and getting juice all over my hands.

Cool. It looks like a cross between a Kayfun and an Aerotank you can run on a mech. Is that fair to say? Do the prebuilt coils run well on a mech?

I haven't tried it on my mechs just the IPV. I don't see why it wouldn't work fine on a mech. As far as your comparison it vapes better than a kayfun but I never used the Aerotank.

BETTER than a Kayfun? With the convienient option of just throwing in a prebuilt head? I GOTTA GET ME ONE. CHOICE MADE. They are kinda pricey, but if that RBA head is a proper build deck, it should be fun.

Thanks for the feedback. I have been looking at these hardcore for weeks.

What do you know about the Aerotank Turbo? LOL. Another Kanger product that has really got my drool glands working. LOL

I would also love to know what kind of airflow this thing has. Restrictive, like a Kayfun 3.1? Or a nice lung hitter like the Fogger 4.1?

I don't have a Fogger to compare against, but I do nothing but lung hits with the Subtank. IMO airflow is not as open on the Subtank as the Atlantis, but considering how much flavor and dense vapor comes from the Subtank (.5 coil), it doesn't even matter.

With the stock OCC coil, I find it to be almost as open as an Atlantis--which is to say, pretty close to wide open. With the RBA deck, it sits somewhere between a Kayfun 3.1 and an Atlantis: it's closer to the Atlantis side, but the airflow is far more restrictive once you use the rebuildable deck.
