I have been vaping on a couple different kayfun V4's since November and overall happy with the results. Out of curiosity I figured I would try a subtank out to see how they compared. So far I have only tried the .5 bdc head and initial impressions is I am very impressed. I loaded up a Kayfun V4 with the peak upgrade and have a 5 wrap 26 gauge coil coming in around .4 ohms to compare. Both tanks are loaded with Castle Long ejuice 6mg. Suprisingly the subtank flavor is more pronounced allowing you to taste multiple layers in the complexity of the flavor. The kayfun almost comes across a bit muted blending the layers together. Also, the subtank throat and lung hit is much stronger. I only vape mouth to lung hits and the one area the kayfun was better was vapor production which was significantly more. I will be trying the rebuildable heads in the subtank tomorrow.
I am curious if others have tried both these tanks and what their opinions are? I am not saying one is better than the other however this was quite surprising to me as I stopped using commercial kanger tanks back in the protank 2 days when I switched over to a kayfun lite and said to myself I would never try another one again.

I have been really curious about the new Kayfun with the upgrade. My first tank was a Kraken and I liked it except for the fact that I had to keep it upright to avoid leaks. Recently I bought the Kanger Sub Tank and the Aspire Atlantis. They actually both perform how I want it to perform. I do lung hits and I heard that the Kayfun has a tight draw. Kayfuns are too expensive to buy unless I am sure that I will be happy with it. I am not a fan of drilling holes into attys either. I have been waiting for someone I know to one so I can try it out but I haven't found anyone yet. I really want a Kayfun.
