My 2 yrs old Kanger VV finaly bit the dust, voltage output went wacky.
Searched for a replacement and found the Kanger Subvod. I don't like the big bulky box type with all the internal electonics so the K.Subvod should be a good fit. I have a GS EgoII 2200mA and its fits good in the pockets.

Thru research some say the bat life isn't to great on the K.Subvod. One poster said thru casual vaping it lasted them around 3 hrs. My kanger VV 650mA lasted about half a day so I would think a 1300mA should last longer than 3 hrs. Anyone getting longer per charge?

Its mainly for subohm coils, I build my own so wondering how high a ohm coil would work with it. I have other 510 tanks with higher ohm coils I use with other bats, thats why I ask.

Specs say to use a 500mA adapter power source, I have 2 adapters a 500 and 1000. One poster said using a 1000mA would not hurt, is that right?
For those who could answer my questions but don't know the bat specs I posted them below
  • Dimensions: 3-1/2" x 3/4"
  • 510 threaded
  • Diameter: 18.5mm
  • Battery Capacity: 1300mAh
  • Output Voltage: 3.7V
  • Minimum Resistance: 0.4ohm
  • Charged via Micro USB 5V/500mA
  • Simple One Button Design
  • Short Circuit Protection
  • Low Resistance Protection
  • Overcharge Protection
  • Low-Battery Warning Indicator

What is casual vaping for one person may be chain vaping for another.

Resistance. Most mods can use .3-3 ohm coils. A few can only go vas high as 2.5 ohms.

A real safe bet is wraping a 1-2 ohm coil.

the K.Subvod is not a Mod right, Mods are where you can take the battery out right? The Subvod battery is not removeble.
The coils for my other bats I build are 1.9 to 2.0 ohms, I can't go much lower or I get a burnt taste with them. These are standard batteries with output of 3.8v and 4.15v(GS EgoII) when fully charged.
I carry 6 tanks w/different juices everywhere I go and swap them in and out. So if I buy this K.Subvod I won't be able to swap them back and forth w/the Kanger since its probably best used with lower ohms. Ohwell think I try the Subvod anyway.

NO. Mods can have either internal or external batteries.

The Mini Volt and eleaf Pico are both mods.

The Mini Volt has an internal battery, and tge Pico has an 18650 that can bf replaced with another 18650.

A mod is a device that delivers current to the coil(s)

All vaporizer delivers current to a coil. So what you are saying is all vaporizers are MOD's, is that right? I am sorry but I can't agree with that, all vaporizers are not MOD's

I never equated mods with Atomizers.

Mods hsve the power

Mods deliver the current to the coils through the 510 PIN.
