....Just got my first Kanger T3 in the mail this morning .....and I love it ...I had previously only used the cone and tank system with my eGos and a spinner....and it just wasn't doing the job,....several people here suggested different juice holders ..and after reading about the coil at the bottom, and less chance of drying the coil out ....I went with the Kanger T3 .....

Now I have only had it for a few hours ...but no leaks ....the thing is when you turn it over to fill it ...I found out quickly that you have to put your finger over the mouthpiece lest you have the juice coming out the mouthpiece as fast as you fill the bottom part ....

.....

Now I just got this kind quickly and I have no idea about the care and up keep of it ...what do you do with it ???? can you replace parts of it ? ...i am assuming that you should have more than one ...and I expect to get more ....

If you like it, you should definitely have more than one. :) And while you're at it, go ahead and pick up a couple of extra replacement atomizers (bases) as well.

When you're filling, tilt it at an angle so you don't pour juice into the center metal tube, that is probably why you have juice pouring out the mouth piece.

I have 3 that I keep in rotation...I never refill without cleaning the tank and the head. Then I use another one while that one gets good and dry. About once a week I do a quick dry burn on them to get rid of any gunk on the coils. As long as you keep the wicks clean between uses and don't overdo the voltage they last a really long time.

I have one that Ive been using for 3 weeks and it still has that lovely popping sound like it did when it was new.

This is where I get mine and most of my juice...

The wicks are right on the bottom..they look like 2 little stubs...I feel up the clearomizer with warm water screw on the base and shake. I do this about 3 or 4 times until I see the wicks are as white as they can get. You won't be able to get them totally white but close. To do a dry burn you just put it your battery and press the button in about 5 seconds bursts..About 4 times. I do this once a weeks.

I only use warm water and I don't take anything apart on the base.

What do you mean "turn it over to fill it"? Kangers have to be filled from the bottom? I don't have one, but you mean you don't fill from the top ie. take the mouthpiece out?

If you're getting juice out the mouthpiece when filling, you must be over filling, or getting some in the center tube. Don't do that! Lol
As far as cleaning... just take the base out, run it under HOT water for a few, then allow it to dry. Pull the center post with silicone cap off the base, you will then notice 2 very small pieces of wick, remove those being careful not to loose or "fluff" them, now put the base back on your bat, and fire it till the coils glow, release, and repeat till clean. Then replace the wicks(if you "fluffed them this will be a biaatch) replace the center post and silicone cover, fill ur tank, put it all back together and enjoy :)

Happens to me too. Maybe it's liquid in the head that gets trapped and when you turn it leaks through the mouthpiece. Maybe it's condensation in the tube... Anyway, it's only a couple of drops.

Mine also leak when filled. From previous contributors, they say if the juice level is too low, there is a vacuum effect that when the coil is unscrewed, any remaining liquid will vent through the mouthpiece. The tube in the body cannot be airtight to the mouthpiece. Their recommendation was to keep liquid level high, thus not allowing a lot of air in the body (always keep the level high).

The coils can be rebuilt for pennies. Great you tube videos show you how. I paid $35.00 for the wick and wire, and have rebuilt at least 40. New coils ≈$2.50 x40= $100.00. BIG SAVINGS!!

And this video shows you how to fix a t-3 when it's turned upside down for filling.
kanger t-3 leaking - Bing Videos

It's a long video: He takes an awl, inserts it in the mouthpiece end and "flares" that tube. I used a small screwdriver, it worked. flaring that tube you see from the mouthpiece end makes a flare in the tube that seals it better.
