Relatively new to vaping and have a question on the Kanger T3 eGo Bottom Coil. Have only been using one for a little under two weeks and it just quit. Is that a normal life-span for this (I think) atty? Seems a bit short to me...

Also, just before it quit it was taking me 2 or 3 hits to get any vape at all and then only a small amount. Cleaned it about every other tank full with water and did notice the wick appeared to be very dirty once you looked past the short outer portion. Could that be the prob -- that the wick was dirty and not allowing enough juice to pass and the atty burned out?

Are the wicks on the T3 replaceable? If so, might this solve the prob or is the unit now toast?

This is not normal. I've only had one where I lost much of the draw after months of use - no cleaning. If it's not heating up, then the coil is likely gone. Just soaking in water shouldn't ruin the coil. The wicks can be replaced - there's a thread here on that somewhere.... You may have gotten a lemon. It happens.

Like Kent said, it's not normal for a T3 to quit after just one week. It sounds like you may just need to dry burn your coil, though. Mine get pretty dirty between fills, so after 2-3 refills I pull off the center post and both of the flavor wicks, then pulse fire it until the wick looks like new. No other cleaning necessary.

If I don't dry burn my coils now and then, the gunk gets so built up that it won't allow enough juice in to give any sort of decent vape, but I've always been able to hear a sizzling and tasted a burnt flavor. Maybe yours is just too dirty to taste?
