I " rebuild " mine...nothing to it if thats what you guys are talking about...just unscrewed the bottom coil and screwed in the the new one.

I was talking about rewicking and coiling your self verses buying new heads.

I bought two T3 to replace my ce5 clearo...one for the wife and one for me...I made the switch because the coils are so cheap and I wanted a bottom feeder.

The first one was a leaky gurgling mess...about 30 minutes fiddling with it and it hasn't leaked anymore.
Now that I have heard I can recoil and rewick them myself, I'm even happier.

I prefer the airy draw...but this evening I noticed that if I tighten it on my battery really hard, the air holes are mostly blocked and the draw is really tight. Loosening it 1/4 turn didn't seem to affect the battery contact, but does let me dial in the draw right to where I like it.

I wonder if anyone else has a similar experience with them?

Thanks
Geo

I prefer T3's, even over the ProTank.

I buy coils in 5 packs...$9.95 so $2 each. A coil lasts me about 2 weeks....I don't bother with rebuilding or cleaning a $2 piece. Just toss it and open a new one. I consider it a "consumable". I buy 2 boxes for $20 and I'm set for 5 months.
