I agree with DrkSide, I have used so many different types of cartos, clearos, atties, and rba's. The T3s has been the best to date. Once they no longer perform like they should, I rebuild 1.6-1.8 ohm, wick with cotton and done. They don't leak at all, taste and vapor are phenomenal. I tried top coil and they just didn't work as well. The 4 - 5 friends and family I have converted also prefer the bottom coil. Hope you find what works for you.

Evod trumps both!

Read a lot of great things and see Evods preferred everywhere. What is the difference between the T3 and the Evod? They appear to be pretty much identical. As I mentioned above, I like to try everything and I haven't because they are so similar. What am I missing?

The little bit further away from the coil that the MT3(s) makes a slight difference. Other than size, the heads are a bit different creating a different air to vape mixture. My original MT3 had gurgling issues but I bought the T3s base and head. No more gurgling.

Though you didn't ask the difference between MT3 and MT3S is the MT3 had a coil and base as one unit and the S has removable heads for cheaper cost replacement. The T3 and MT3 difference is the MT3 just has the metal shell like the evod. I used a T3s base on the MT3 which creates a very slight ridge since the T3 doesn't have the metal shell to add width.

Yeah, sorry I didn't clarify, I used the MT3, moved to the MT3S for ease of rebuilding. The wife uses T3S. So the only difference in these and the Evod is the slight difference in the distance between the coil and air hole? And the actual size of the head? Is the vape that noticeably different? I might just have to get a few to try.

The only time. I have an issue with gurgling is when they get almost empty. Never a leaking issue though

I find people that experience gurgling with the T3S don't take into account the amount of condensation that accumulates in the center air path from extended use. Chances are the condensation is collecting and falling back down onto the coil and creating that gurgling BS we all dislike. Just take the base off and blow the condensation into a vapor towel and replace the base, continue vaping!

In my experience, both the iClear 16 and T3S both give great vapor production and flavor for clearomizers. The biggest difference is warmth of vapor. The iClear coil is on top, so you'll get a warmer vape. I tend to vape my tanks dry, so I prefer the bottom coil design of the T3S more, never have to worry about a dry hit from wicking issues.

I have a T3S, and it's too airy. Is there a way to reduce the air flow? I see a slot on the center post where a screw driver might fit, but don't want to chance it. Help anyone? Thanks.

A dab of clear nail polish over one of the holes.

I LOVE the T3s. I got sick of the tiny windows and lack of capacity of the evod, but If you like the look get the mt3s. Only problem is they take a different head as the above poster pointed out.

I have the Evod, T3s, IClear 16 and 30. The Iclear 30 leaks into the 510 connection bad (even replacing heads does not fix), the T3s leaks and gurgles, the IClear 16 is very nice and the Evod is very nice. The IC16 is warmer and the Evod does not require the tilt to keep wicks wet. My preference is the Evod as I don't like the tilt.

Why the Evod works and the T3s gurgles? I can't tell you the reason only that I have tried several with similar results. Just like the Iclear 30 leaks and the 16 is great.

My daily commute requires a 2000 ft change in elevation daily and I think the change in BPressure impacts some more than others. That been my experience with this group of Clearos.

This may be true but it doesn't explain why going from the MT3 to the MT3S meant no more gurgle for me.

Barometric pressure would affect things but I also know heat has a strong effect. I can't use my evods for outdoor work if the temp is upper 80's or higher.

Yes! My T3's leak and gurgle and complain heartily if outdoors or in my car without running the AC. It's kind of a pain.
