Hello everyone.

Wondering if anyone else has has propbless with leaking top tanks. When I fill juice leaks through the air holes. I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong along the way. I have had the tank to bits and washed it and replaced all o rings (including the rba). I fill with the air holes closed and try to fill as quick as possible and then replace the top. Only then do I open the air holes. I then find I have flooding and juice poring out of the air holes. It usually clears up after giving it a few blows and cleaning all the excess up. Any tips on what I am doing wrong would be greatly appreciated xx

Top filling you may try, seating down the top cap enough to start sealing, not fully tight, then quickly tilt upside down, tighten fully, open air flow again. This will force the air pocket to the coil head when upside down, when the top cap is seated and tightened fully, that pressure will force the air out instead of liquid when the airflow is opened back up. Not perfect but it helps.

With one exception-- the Serpent SMM-- all my top-fill tanks puke a drop or two on filling. The solution is as @IMFire3605 describes: close the air, open the top, fill, start the top back on until the o-ring contacts, invert the tank, screw the top home, open the air, hold the tank inverted a few seconds. Sounds complex, but once you get used to it you'll do it in your sleep without thinking.

What's going on is, as the top is screwed home, pressure in the tank increases. This pressure forces juice through the wick into the vape chamber, which then drips out through the air holes. Inverting the tank puts the "bubble" in the tank up next to the wick ports so, when the pressure is increased, air from the bubble is forced through, not juice.

Welcome to the board.
