Kanger UNITANK Top-Fill Bottom Coil 2.5ml 510 - CLEAR
$19.95

Introducing Kangers newest entry in their excellent tank series - The Unitank. Look MA! No Inversion!

This is a bottom coil tank which utilizes the same single-coil heads as the Pro tank series. One of the most useful features of this bottom coil tank is you no longer have to detach and invert your tank to refill. THIS IS A TOP FILL TANK! Kanger utilizes dual chambers and a spring loaded enclosure to ensure proper pressure is maintained within the tank when filling from the top to avoid leaching through the bottom coils when filling.

The tank is constructed of strong poly carbonate material but we still advise caution when using more acidic juices. We cannot guarantee all juices will be trouble free. So be careful with juices that traditionally crack or spider a PC tank such as cinnamon and some fruit-based vapes.

Features:
  • Utilizes same coil heads as Pro Tank and EVOD
  • 2.5ml capacity
  • First Kanger tank product that utilizes top-fill
  • Use your own 510 drip tip if you desire.
  • When changing heads unscrew the head first then grip the base of the head and with your thumbnail pull the spring off gently at the base of the spring. Then slide airstem of coil head back up into spring before you screw back on your UNITANK.
  • 510 Connection
  • Comes with three heads, 2.5ohm installed and two additional (1.8 and 2.1 ohm)
  • Sturdy box cube packaging with excellent color manual.
  • Tip when changing heads or removing tank and re-installing: Make sure you re-tighten the head down as the action of unscrewing the tank can loosen this and cause non-contact and/or leakage!
  • Be careful not to stretch spring when removing, we presently do not have extra springs for this unit. We will hopefully be getting in colored tubes and other parts for this.

Thanks for the info danno..

shame about the plastic tank tube..especially as the Kanger Pro 2 has gone with the pyrex tank tube..seems a bit of a retro step...or ?

who knows ..1 month down the line I guarantee this will role out with a pyrex tank tube ..means load of money for the prototype though

plastic will not go away, they will not switch every tank to glass. there is a market for both and always will be. We will all have our preferences but china has no intentions of going all pyrex, just doesnt make sence for them. I am happy though they finally embraced glass though so for all of us that want that can get it at decent prices. As long as they are using top quality plastics which kanger is then the usual worries arent present like cin juices cracking it etc..

Very true Bad, with the design of this tank it would be near impossible to do it in glass and would be very cost prohibitive. I would still be very careful using the acidic juices in it though.

i tried using evod heads with this on a provari and there is very little draw. hard to pull.
the longer protank heads work fine though with plenty of air flow.
anyone know why this would be happening?

Try drawing on it off of the Provari.... the Provari is known to have a tight draw on many carto's, clearo's and atties and this will tell you if its the coil head causing it or the way the Provari is while using that coil head.

In general, the ProTank does have an airier draw than an Evod... but I wouldn't call it a significant difference or would I refer to it as "very little draw"... just a bit tighter

Im having the same issue with a tight draw even with an airflow controller.

So... that just means it's too tight for your own preference.... Everyone had different preferences on how tight or airy of a draw.

In addition... If you don't test in the manner I mentioned... ie off of the PV you are using... then you haven't proven anything as to the actual cause.

Whats with the condescending tone?

I have tried it both on and off, i plugged the bottom and it was tight. I have tried it with an airflow controller (from gotvapes) and without on both a gripper vv and a zmax. Its a tight draw.

You are right though that some peoples preferences might lean toward a tight draw, i didnt say anything about that. BTW do YOU have one and have YOU tried one?

Wooosaaaahhhh, ok back on track, i think the main cause for the tight draw is the 510 connector, the outside threaded part is a hair too long and the inner part, the positive post, is a hair to short. That combined with the rubber grommet that pushes out as its compressed results in the tight draw.

If you barely thread the unitank in so that it just barely contacts without compressing the above mentioned grommet its useable but loose.

i have tried drawing without and without the provari connected and this lack of draw only occurs with the evod heads. its really bizarre.
I even tried just barely screwing the head to the base, and same issue. almost impossibly tight draw.

the only difference between the heads is that the threading on the evod is about 4 rows, and the threading on the unitank heads is 3 rows.

can't figure this out!!

figured out a fix.

Slightly pull out the positive post, and wrap a single strand of yarn, or string or pretty much anything a couple times around the post.

This seems to fix the airflow issue and the positive post not sticking out far enough. Used it both on my gripper vv and zmax with airflow controller and it works great.
