I most definitely agree that the kanger airflow controllers is a game changer with my protanks. I rebuild my own heads so I really didn't have any problems to begin with. I have several bases so I swaped them around to get nice airflow but now it don't matter. The biggest observation I've made with the airflow controller is with my wife's provari, she didn't have airflow issues but how much the provari was restricting airflow. She with the same PT2 and head can produce twice the vapor she was before with just regular PT bases.
I got several of the controllers out of Ebay and lucked out in fasttech getting 4 more before they sold out.
I'm very happy camper with these airflow controllers and can see why they are sold out almost everywhere.

Somewhere out there
I've read read of people using them with the mini, but the base is wider, it will stick out if you're using it on an ego-style battery.

I haven't found my minis to need the aero base the way the regular PT2 does, they seem to work fine without it.

BTW, they are in stock at desertvapes.

Yeah, if it wasn't for the fact that they leave a HUGE gap if you tighten the atomizer all the way down in it, making the contact pin sticking out, they would be quite useful.
So disappointed with these Aerotank bases, compared to the stock bases, drilled out with a 1.5 mm drill. I'm sure I could make them work, but that would take some work with shortening down the contact pin.

I just tried it on my mini pro tank and it worked... I did have to take off the ring that is right below the threads connecting protank mini to airflow controller... I had to leave for work right after and I haven't been able to play around with it for more than 10 minutes... I also had it on my Davide (not mini) w/out issues last night...

I did not mind the way it looked on my MVP either... Maybe ill get more now!!! I wanted a reason to use my protanks again :)

they are in stock at surevapes as well

I had a major airflow issue on the Protank 3 I just got today...no time to order anything, and if I didn't have my fingers covering 2 out of the three air holes, I was getting nothing.

So, I cut a little strip of paper, grabbed some scotch tape and my hobby knife and came up with this fix.

To fix the airflow on my regular bases I use some tile adhesive.
I will put some in the last 1/8 inch or so of the of the air channel openings and make it level with the rest of the base.
It can easily be adjusted by using a razor blade or something like that to cut small openings in it 'til you get the air flow you want.
Once it dries completely it last a good while.
The first thing I used as a quick fix when I got my first PT3 was toothpaste and it works great for sealing the air channels too.
