KangerTech Mega and a Aspire CF Mod

I seem to have an Issue with the Mega only wanting to work off my Generic battery. I picked up a Aspire CF mod added an Efest 18650 Battery 2500mah 35A . Charged it put the tank on and nothing. Any thoughts bad coils maybe?
