with the aspire in pre-orders or barely in stock and the kanger unavailable yet as far as i can tell, who would have the chance to look at either one never mind both? maybe some reviewer but that is about it. need to wait on this thread until people have actually used them.....

Yeah just watched it. He posted part 1 of a 3 part review he is doing for the subtank. Why in the hell did they make it a 25mm device? Don't care about it anymore. Just saved myself $50 XD

pbusardo received both of these tanks, he put some quick reviews on his homepage.

subtank: imho i dont like the size or the red orings but i would consider buying it because i know exactly what the wicks are made of and easy to rebuild it with whatever wicking material u decide in clearomizer role.

as for aspires wicks even though they seem to work great their composition seems to be up in the "clouds" as far as i can tell

I see lots of people saying how great the Atlantis flavor is but I did not have that experience. I used stock and rebuild with Japanese cotton coils for the Atlantis and my Kayfun lite+ kills it in flavor. I tried all wattage all over the board for the Atlantis and while it kills in vapor production the flavor is just super muted for me.

I like the Atlantis for size and vapor production. Flavor is pretty good but the vape seems... harsher. Not a dry hit or even the edge of one. Think it might be from the drip tip maybe. Will have to try one of my glass ones. Maybe I should swap out the coil in my Atlantis and see if that fixes that unknown slight harshness.

The Subtank is massive. I feel like I am wielding a mace when it is on my eVic-S. Vapor production isn't quit as high as the Atlantis, but it does't have that weird touch of harshness.

*EDIT*
Changed out to a glass drip tip. Most of the harshness went away bu there is still a slight touch of it. Will update after I change the coil out and see if that fixes it.

Earlier at my local b&m my guy owns both. He said it is a very close race but since he has purchased his subtank he hasn't paid much mind to the atlantis. He did say that the atlantis does a better job at "pushing out" old flavors and "soaking in" the new flavor you're adding. For me this doesn't matter since my tank will always have my go to in it. He also said that I should wait to see because apparently aspire is changing their tanks to accommodate for higher juice capacity. At any rate, according to him, the sub has the flavor game, and the atlantis has the vapor game. I haven't tried both myself so take what you hear with a grain of salt.

Thats largely my findings as well, but its somewhat flavor dependent. I've found some flavors I really love in the atlantis, that I don't like so well in the subtank. tribute for example, has a weird taste in the subtank. Might be the Lychee I'm not sure, I have no idea what its supposed to taste like. It's not bad, just roughens up the flavor a little bit, where the atlantis mutes it a little and smooths it out some. Vape Wild's dragon juice was the same, a little too tart in the subtank for me, but the atlantis mellowed it out.

Both are working great for me, and they are carving out a niche in my rotation. I've recently started use'n the Atlantis with stronger flavors in the morning and after i eat, the Subtank with mellower flavors throughout the day. Been a couple weeks now off the cig's and my sense of flavor has been come'n back, so this is all going to evolve but those are my takes on them so far.

well now that i have both and vaped both extensively i will make this short and sweet. without the subtank around the atlantis would be a pretty good tank. it does go through juice quickly but is easy enough to re-fill and gives out nice flavor. the subtank arrives and i have put down my atlantis for good. there is no comparison. the subtank on the coil side is just better for anything that matters, flavor and capacity. it is just a fabulous vape. now add the rba deck and it leaves the atlantis in the dust. so easy to build a coil(or coils) and the flavor is as good as my kayfun/russian. together the two decks for under $50 makes a remarkable deal and the best clearo, by far, to date...kanger has won this round and it isn't even close.....

Just got a Kanger sub tank gf has the Atlantis. Sub tank wins for those that don't like the 25 mm fit on their mods just use the reducer. More options with the sub tank build your own coils to your liking. I can fill my tank and make it threw a day of work or close to it lol. Also like said before organic cotton is just better. That and it is just a better built system. The tank comes off with ease for easy cleaning.
