Good Day Everyone,

I just wanted to share my experience with the subbox mini. When I first got this device I was so impressed, small, light weight, easy change of batteries with long battery life. Had it for about 2 months and bought another Subtank mini, nano and plus. Other than the leaking from those tanks I was really happy with it. However after I bought the Subtank Plus I noticed it was a little too big and moved around on the 510 thread. After about 2 months one day I went to change tanks which I did a couple times a day and the tank would not screw on. I tried another and same issue. I even went back to my Plus and still would not screw on. Because the Plus was so big it stripped the threads on the Subbox and made it totally unusable. This really upset me and I ended up buying 2 new mods a EVIC VT and a Invader mini temp control. Both seem good so far and they both hold all the tanks great. Just a warning or experience.
After a few months of use mine too is stripped. I was wondering if maybe my butterfingers may have been the cause after having dropped it so many times. First I noticed that the aspire tank I had on it wouldn't work, the bottom light would just blink at me a ton of times so I put my leaky Kanger tank back on it that came with the mod which was fine for a couple weeks until 2 days ago the tank just fell off on its own out of nowhere. I loved this mod, pissssssed! Waaahh

One problem I've had with the Kbox mini is the fixed 510 pin. Because it isn't spring loaded, you need to make contact perfectly to get it to work. If your mod has threads that are slightly longer and you crank it down to make it flush with the top of the mod, you WILL strip the threads. Also, if it is too short, you'll never make connection. Just a bad design. I just don't understand why, in a world of spring-loaded 510 connectors, Kanger would decide to go with a fixed pin on this mod. Otherwise, it is a perfect starter kit.
